T90 is een schotel waarbij het makkelijk is om de satellietposities op één schotel te hebben
Op een quad-LNB kan je vier ontvangers aansluiten die onafhankelijk kunnen schakelen. Als je 19.2, 23.5 en 28.2 wil heb je er maar drie nodig.
Voor elke ontvanger moeten de uitgangssignalen van de LNBs gebundeld worden en via een switch met één kabel naar de ontvanger toe. Per ontvanger dus 1 switch nodig.
De kabels lijken me duidelijk, 't is even knippen, draaien en schroeven en wat trekwerk.
En de (HD-)ontvangers heb je nodig waar je het (HD-)signaal wil hebben.
Overigens kunnen op een 4-in-1 switch (en die heb je nodig) 4 satellietposities aangesloten worden. Je kan dus wat WMW zegt een vierde LNB erbij nemen en die op een positie naar keuze (voor zover de natuurkunde het toelaat) plaatsen. Denk aan Hotbird 13 (niet zo bijster interessant meer) of Eurobird 9. -

Ik las op het forum van een bedrijf met vestigingen in oa Arnhem en Zoetermeer het volgende:

Origineel bericht van: RUFGeprobeerd met een uitzending van 2BE en het lukt niet. Misschien als de zender die je programmeert ook op staat als je het toestel uitschakelt. Bv toestel tuner 1 op kanaal X afstemmen en kanaal X programmeren voor opname.
Het is mij ook al opgevallen dat bij de verschillende firmwares dit gedrag wisselt.
Bij "een" oudere firmware schakelde hij aan op het ingeprogrammeerde kanaal. "Tegenwoordig" (bij mij moet je dat met een korrel zout nemen aangezien ik elke tussentijdse beta waar ik maar aan kan komen erin prop) blijft-ie staan op de laatste zender toen je hem uitzette.
Dus die grap gaat niet altijd bij iedereen werken. Helaas. -

Bestanden opnieuw verwijderen en het gaat weer een weekje goed. Dat is mijn ervaring. -

IK heb namelijk hetzelfde probleem en had ook via een separate thread gevraagd op iemand dit probleem kent zie <HIER>
Ik had die draad inderdaad gezien, maar had er weinig zinnigs aan toe te voegen. Het aparte is dat de opnames die niet weg konden nog steeds niet wegkunnen (alleen de opnames gemaakt tijdens firmware 7.00.33), en de rest wel. Kopiëren was ook niet mogelijk. Via http is dat me overigens wel gelukt. -
Nou, de EPG op de Duitse zenders (en ook die op de NL-zenders met mediahighway aan) springt niet automatisch op het lopende programma. Werkt dus nog niet.
Verder worden de opnames weer juist opgeslagen zodat ze via FTP weer te verwijderen/kopiëren zijn. Da's wel weer prettig.

Voor de TF7700HDPVR model 23231 is versie 7.00.34 online gezet bij www.i-topfield.com
Volgens de changelog doet de Viaccess CAM-support het weer, maar ik heb uit het Duitse forum al vernomen dat de Duitse EPG problemen (heeft dus niets te maken met de MHW-EPG) ook zijn opgelost.

Kan je niet via je ontvanger de teletekst of de ondertiteling gebruiken dan? Zo doe ik het altijd.

Sommige functionaliteit waarvoor echt programmatuur nodig is, moet gewoon opnieuw gebouwd worden voor de Topfield. Als de broncode beschikbaar is, kan het zijn dat applicaties alleen maar "geport" hoeven worden naar het Topfield-platform. Dat lijkt makkelijk, maar kan soms een tijdrovende klus zijn vanwege kleine hardwareverschillen.
Dit is een project dat door een heel klein groepje hobbyisten wordt gebezigd, waarbij ik geen inzicht heb in de hoeveelheid tijd die ze hebben om zulke dingen te doen. Verder vereist het kennis van de hardware, iets waar je in dot soort gevallen alleen maar achter komt door trial-and-error.
- Ik weet niet precies wat DB-images zijn, maar als het werkende onderdelen zijn, zijn die niet zomaar 1-op-1 beschikbaar
- Ik denk deels. Ik heb geen idee van de complete plugin-architectuur, maar misschien is het juist wel of helemaal niet mogelijk.
- Cardsharing is een applicatie (ccamd oid had ik begrepen) die erg gewenst is. Het zou best kunnen dat dat als een van de eerste dingen is waar tijd in gestoken gaat worden.
- Settingslijsten zullen naar alle waarschijnlijkheid uitwisselbaar zijn, zolang de basisfunctionaliteit van de Topfield gelijk is aan die van de Dreambox. Als voorbeeld: satellites,xml die meegeleverd wordt kan vervangen worden met een veel uitgebreidere.

Twee weken oud?? Dan zou ik ermee naar de verkoper gaan. Als jij met je schroevendraaier erin peurt, gaat je garantiezegel ook kapot. Plus dat je apparaat na twee weken dit gedrag niet mag vertonen.

Mijn eerste ervaringen met uitrichten was zo'n 8 jaar geleden toen ik in een ontwikkelcentrum voor interactieve TV werkte. Voor een demo aan Joop v/d Ende, John de Mol en nog wat van dat soort kopstukken moest een uplink gerealiseerd worden. Die werd verzorgd door zo'n wagentje, dat werd geleverd met operator. Nou, na 4 uur hadden we nog geen uplink, en iedereen had er al naar gekeken, tot aan de receptioniste toe. Toen dacht ik nog "dat satelliet uitrichten is blijkbaar wel erg moeilijk". Intussen weet ik wel beter

Ja, dezelfde gegevens gebruiken die je origineel ook had, dat kan je in Enigma ook invoeren. Als je weet hoe Linux in elkaar steekt kan je dit soort gegevens ook permanent maken.
Ik heb eigenlijk niet eens geprobeerd om kanalen op volgorde te zetten. Daarvoor heb ik me ook niet echt ver genoeg verdiept in Enigma.
Wat me wel opviel was dat de kanalen van de positie 28.2 en 28.5 met hele vreemde namen binnenkwamen (11870V-095F oid). Maar ook daarover maak ik me niet zo heel erg druk. Dat zijn fijnafstellingen die wel geregeld zullen worden in een eventuele betarelease. Eerst maar eens zien of er een goede cam-ondersteuning komt en dat timeshifting goed werkt.

DHCP werkt inderdaad niet, maar als je het oude IP-adres gebruikt (en de juiste netmask en gateway instellingen invoert) krijg je het netwerk wel degelijk aan de praat.
Ik had overigens met TFD-down ook problemen om de firmware terug te zetten (heb ook een Serieel -> USB adapter). Ik heb de firmware toen met Topset terug gezet (wat ik ook gebruik als kanaleneditor).

Ik meen dat Enigma gewoon een betaalde applicatie is, dus met linkjes strooien zal niet gaan helaas.
Wat heb je nodig aan hard- en software?
-Een topfield TF77xx HDPVR (duh)
-Een PC plus nullmodemkabel (werking kan je evt testen met bijv. topset om de kanalenlijst uit te lezen)
-Eventueel een extra harde schijf als je je opnames niet wil verliezen.
-Een USB-stick, geformatteerd op FAT32 (dus niet gewoon FAT!).
-Het programma Topset, Vega-pack of TFD-down. Ik heb Topset gebruikt. Dit heb je nodig om de originele firmware terug te zetten (als je dat wil).
-Een terminalprogramma. Ik gebruik PuTTY, maar TeraTerm kan ook. Je kan de COM-poort uitlezen met snelheid 115200 (8/n/1, deze laatste gegevens heb je in PuTTY niet nodig). Je gebruikt de terminal om de bootberichten te lezen en eventuele fouten te ontdekken. Let erop dat je soms tijdens het booten zelf de terminal verbinding even afsluit.
-De TTDT-bestanden met Linux en Enigma erin.
-Een originele Topfield firmware (niet strikt noodzakelijk als je niet terug wil).
Je zet de TTDT bestanden rootfs.tar.gz, Enigma_Installer.tfd en uImage op de stick, die je daarna in de ontvanger stopt.
Kies nu uit het menu firmware upgrade via USB, en je kan dan Enigma_Installer.tfd uitkiezen.
Dan wordt de firmware geflashed; dat gaat vrij snel. Je ziet 99, 50 en dan End(dacht ik).
Daarna moet de ontvanger gereboot worden. LAAT DE STICK ERIN ZITTEN!!!
Na de herstart worden de andere bestanden van de stick gelezen om Linux te booten. Het is zinvol om intussen een terminalverbinding te maken om te zien wat er allemaal gebeurt. Op je VFD komen af en toe meldingen te staan waar de installatieprocedure is:

Zorg dat de USB-stick schrijfbaar blijft, omdat na een succesvolle installatie het bestand uImage wordt gerenamed, zodat-ie bij de volgende boot weet dat de installatie al heeft plaatsgevonden.
Zorg dat je terminalverbinding verbroken is voor het booten; anders denkt de ontvanger dat je een invoer hebt gedaan (dat zie je dan ook aan de melding).
Tijdens deze eerste boot worden device-nodes aangemaakt, en daarna kom je in een installatiemenu (beeldformaat etc).
Na deze initialisatie is je systeem klaar.
Er zitten standaard twee satellieten in geprogrammeerd, de hotbird en de Astra 19.2. Je kan zelf satellieten toevoegen in het bestand /etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml, als je telnet toegang hebt verkregen tot je ontvanger. Daarvoor dien je wel eerst je netwerk te configureren.
Het kan voorkomen dat sommige dingen nog niet (goed) werken. Af en toe krijg je zelfs een groen scherm (vgl met de blauwe schermen in Windows). Toch is deze Linux-firmware een goede demo van de zeer grote mogelijkheden die in de ontvanger verscholen zitten, en die we niet bij Topfield los krijgen.
Enigma2 is de User-Interface van de Dreamboxen, die standaard op Linux draaien. Er zijn dus al grote gebruikersgroepen op internet en evenzovele plugins en uitbreidingen te krijgen.
Ik kijk dan ook erg uit naar de volgende versie van deze Linux-implementatie.

Is je harde schijf misschien corrupt? Vaststellen van bestanden doet-ie normaal als er een bestandsfout is opgetreden.

Meestal blijft het bij de originele staat van uitlevering, en worden er daarna geen mogelijkheden bijgebouwd.
Bij sommige ontvangers, die met "originele Canaldigitaal etc." software draaien, worden de mogelijkheden achteraf wel uitgebreid.
Bij mijn Nokia 9800 werd bijvoorbeeld na 2 jaar de Dolby digitaal uitgang door nieuwe software geactiveerd.
Zo ook Topfield. Die levert in Duitsland op haar TF7700HDPVR boxen geen Diseqc 1.2, terwijl de firmware voor dezelfde box in Nederland of Zwitserland dat wel heeft. Dat zorgt dus voor nogal wat firmware-wisselingen bij de Duitsers. -
Inderdaad, de kans wordt dan alweer een stuk kleiner.
Ik heb ooit uit luiheid zonder satfinder of kompas een LNB bijgeplaatst. Ik meende wel te weten waar die ongeveer moest komen. Dat was ook in één keer raak. Wel grappig dat zo'n delicaat stukje uitrichten soms ook in een keer goed kan gaan

Dat idee kreeg ik ook al. Wellicht een stukje flashgeheugen dat niet door Enigma overschreven wordt?Inderdaad, ik vind het ook veelbelovend. zelfde UI als mijn dreambox; als dit nu eens allemaal goed ging draaien met PVR, CAM etc. kan je dus overal uit huis op een pc met de vlc webviewer tv kijken!
heb je m.i. een hele goedkope DM8000 ;-)
