The software download, available within two weeks, will add Dolby Digital AC3 Surround Sound to all terminals. New receivers with Version 1.34 software are now being produced with a new front design incorporating the Dolby Digital logo. The software download will be available from Astra at 19.2 degrees east, IRCI 5400 users will simply have to visit the allocated transponder - where the updated software will automatically download. Humax, with its UK base in Belfast, also announced its intentions to offer a Dolby Digital over-the-air upgrade for the F1 Fox and CRCI 5500.
