patchen van Humax5400Z via nul modem kabel

Onderstaand bericht gevonden op een Duitse site en meteen de software gedownload, zou het dan toch weer mogelijk zijn om een humax5400Z weer zelf via een nul modem kabel te patchen?

 

endlich hat Humax eine Software gebracht, mit welcher es möglich ist den Humax 5400z per Nullmodemkabel zu updaten !

Software und die neue Firmware von heute !!! Findet man bei Humax-Digital (Achtung, nicht auf der deutschen Seite)

Please make sure that your software version is ZIC, because we have three kinds of version for IRCI-5400Z.

 

1. Download the wdn4z.zip and the software ZIC10501.sdl onto your PC.

2. Connect your PC and your receiver with null modem cable.

3. Execute the wdn4z.exe.

4. Set "Configure" and open the ZIC10501.sdl file.

5. Press Start button and then power on your receiver with main power or standby key and if there is no reaction, pls recheck the COM port and baudrates.

The software for IRCI-5400Z has three kinds of version. the belows is ZIC, targeted for europe

and its type is sdl,not hdf. so you should use another download tool named wdn4z instead of wdn4oak.

 

deze werkt met andere file's sdl in plaats van hdf !

Dat is volgens mij gewoon upgraden, geen patchen:-))

Als dit mogelijk is moet het toch ook niet zo moeilijk zijn om de patche weer via de seriële port in de Humax te kunnen zetten, net zols bij andere ontvangers?
