Gemini Image 2.00 (Dream 7020):

 

Because of users having problems with installing the MOD, and also a complete Gemini in form of *nfi was on the desire list, here the result!

BLUE Button - Blue Panel

YELLOW Button - Quick-Button (can be adjusted over BluePanel)

AUDIO Button - Audio Selection

TEXT Button - Videotext

RED Button - EPG List for the current channel

2x RED Button - Double Click for EPG Style Menu

GREEN Button – Subservices

 

 

Features:

AutoCam: Emus can be linked to Channel/Provider

CamName: Renaming of Emus

Record CIFS: Recording on a harddisk mounted via CIFS (only available if there is no hdd in the box)

Record NFS: Recording on a harddisk mounted via NFS (only available if there is no hdd in the box)

Showing the clock(and only the clock!) can be assigned to the QuickButton

MOD can be moved to USB/HDD/CF and also back to root

 

 

New:

- ECM display on the infobar (unfortunately not with Camd3 and SCAM possible at present - Camd3 will follow in the next image, about SCAM we don't have any informations)

- Message: Autoidentification between Neutrino and Enigma

- Wireless Lan Module: with 64 & 128 Bit encryption

- DreamDyn – DynDNS

- Gemini News in several languages (support in german and english from the GeminiTeam)

- Common Interface Message switch offable

- In Harddisk Setup new Button: hddoff

- Freeze Picture under Quickbutton (freezed image with screenshot to /tmp)

- Path selectable for Addons manual installations

- Infobar switchable at the OK button between Time or OK

- Size Info extended

 

We thank you all, which participated in the “suggestion thread for the Gemini”. Unfortunately, many things are not feasible from our side.

 

Consider also please, Gemini is based on a new CVS and some plugins do not function any longer and have to be compiled by the owner again!

Gemini Mod 2.00 (Dream 7020):

 

Also this time concerns not an image, but a so-called MOD (modification)

And why that?

 

1. The complete flash is writable

2. Size of an image would be 15 MB, a MOD is only 2-3 MB small

3. Images have to be flashed, MOD to be copied only

4. Several MODs can be installed at the same time

5. The original DMM-image can (have to, for warranty reasons) be left on the box

 

Before you can install the new MOD, you have to remove the old one:

 

ipkg remove gemini

 

How to install the MOD:

 

To switch between the different Enigmas, we need a tool of which this takes over.

A modified DF is used as “start menu”.

 

Copy the file "startmenu.ipk" via FTP to "/tmp"

 

The package has to be installed via Telnet "ipkg install /tmp/start*"

 

During the installation Enigma goes off for a short time and the start menu should be visible.

 

In order to install the actual Gemini we proceed similarly.

First copy the package, then install it via Telnet "ipkg install /tmp/gemini*"

 

As soon as both procedures have finished successfully, simply introduce a reboot and select Gemini in the start menu.

bij het installeren van de MOD kan je een foutmelding verwachten :

 

De volgende foutmelding kan je vermijden door eerst de ipk uit de bijlage te installeren alvorens je de MOD gaat installeren.

ik heb deze image er in zitten maar kan met de IHAD Gemini Manager geen kontact maken met de dreambox 7020s met dcc en ftp wel

 

weet iemand hoe dat komt

 

de box word wel gevonden via ipscan maar krijg verder geen info

 

of zit er nu een ander ww op??

Ik dacht dat ik de laatste Gemini versie heb, maar bij Box information staat :

Waar zie je dat met IHAD zie ik dit

Als ik voor geminiTV kies, staat dat aan de linkerkant:

Draait hier ook lekker. Beeld is beter dan met The Hydra Phoenix die ik er nog op had staan (ja, ben lui) heb ik de indruk.

 

Zou dat aan de verbeterde drivers liggen?

 

Wat wel weer lastig is dat sommige satellieten andere benamingen hebben dan in de bekende settingslijsten.

 

Thor zit bij Gemini op 0.9 en ook Astra 2 heeft geen match. Weet iemand hoe je dit zelf kan corrigeren? Hetzij in de settingslijst hetzij in de dreambox configuratie?

Ik doe het altijd als volgt:

 

Via de dreambox: Menu, setup, service searching, satelite configuration, new ,"thor 2,3 (0.8W)" save. Herhalen voor de astra 2 (Volgens mij is dat de astra 2ABD(28,2E)).

 

Via settingslijst weet ik het ook niet

Als je een nieuwe kiest kun je alleen uit het lijstje kiezen.

 

Misschien in satellites.xml beter aanpassen met thor 1.0 aangezien dat zo in de settingslijst staat.
