OOps.. I've a Nokia 9800S with Diseqc motor.

Update:

With fun5in1v38.

Green flashes in any fta channels.

Hangs with diseqc motor satellite changes.

Hangs on provider changes.

With stream MMOV (Ird*to) channels, I've got a big crash on my Nokia 9800. I need multiple reboot to recognise the MM.

More black flashes when I change the audio channel (language).

Nokia 9902s with latest AD2.0 software;

faster but stil doesn't recognise MM on boot. I hope you will do something about that in your next release.

With the gamma 12 software still the init message now and then on a topfield4000pvr.

Switching seems a bit better.

Receiver : Nokia 9800S

Hardware : 1.2

Software : MA1.31

Bootloader : 200

Card : 5in1 with flash 3.8 (Satkoos)

 

- MAJOR CRASH within 5 seconds on promo Palco channel !!!

First you get green blocks and then compleet freeze of picture. Reboot required of receiver then. This happens with both 5in1 card and Seca Fun only card.

 

- Still hangin cam when dish is moving to other satellite (Maybe you could find out how the Aston cam is handling the signal when the dish is moving).

 

- Still sometimes hangin cam when changing providers.

 

- Sometimes hangin cam changing providers with different decoding system.

 

Ushtar, is it possible to optimise the Xin1 files for the Magic cam and include them with the gamma software ?

 

BTW. My Nokia 9800S always sees my Magic on boot, could other users please write which hardware/software version + bootloader they are using in their 9800S !!!

Again thanks all for feedbak. I like ask everyone when report problem includes:

-Reciever model and firmware version

-Card using and what file on card

-If possible, things do to create error (so like change form channel A to channel B is KABUM, like that)

 

Regarding reporting problems:

-Nokia 9600 I not have can not do much, sorry. I think is problem with DVB2000 soft?? Not sure

 

-Boot problem on Nokia 9800 etc: With me not happens! Perhaps depends hardware version Nokia??

 

-Hanging on Nokia 9800: Here also happen, but is not CAM soft hanging is no more mpeg data coming! I can make problem when swtich Astra (encrypted like Canal+) and Hotbird (not encrypted, RaiSatnetUno) after 2 or 3 times change channel no more MPEG data!

 

-Nokia 9800 Palco promo crash: I check later

 

-topfield message "initializing cam": please what firmware on topfield? I have version 30.03.2002 I start channel one zap up all the way to channel 250 and then zap back, is not hang! i try with Flash 3.8 <img border="0" title="" alt="[in de war?!]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

 

- TPS problem I check also later

Nokia 9800S + Hardware 1.2 + boot 103 + firm MA1.31 + Motor diseqc + MM + Gamma12 + Fun5in1Satkoos (v38)

 

Crashes without zapping (Insert card) and MM is not recognised until multiple reboots.

 

Black screen without zapping (also the module can reboot and works again).

 

With zapping in the same provider and encryption: a few channels and it hangs.

 

With zapping between provider hangs.

 

Problem with MMOV stream (irdeto), receiver crashes.

 

Green blocks in FTA channels with low symbolrate (RRFEED 13ºE for example).

Sure crash with satellite changes with motor. If I switch sat between FTA channels, and then, I go to a scrambled channel it works fine.

 

Slow boot (an Aston module in 9800 boot before go to channel, MM+Gamma12 boot 2 seconds after go into scrambled channel on boot.

For example:

Now, kioske1, MM hangs every 10 minutes (aprox).

After a few MM hangs, I must restart receiver.

MM+Nokia9800+Gamma12+Fun5in1v38Satkoos.

strong 4375 - with firmware 1.02 march 02 - using funcard with latest satkoosfile - gamma 012

 

zapping from channel 1-2 etc. takes now more time then gamma 011

 

zapping from viacces channel to lets say kiosque channel makes receiver hang then it needs a reset or restart, this problem is more in gamma 12 then gamma 11

 

blok or blokvorming does not appear

 

it looks like that gamma 11 is better then gamma 12 for strong 4375

Problems with gamma12 and TPS

TPS doesn't work anymore with the MM and the Humax 5400.

 

Only Multi 4 works

With gamma11 everything is fine

- using GoldCard with "SECA GW ONLY FOR ASTON 1.05 BY AREA 51.zip" - gamma 012

 

zapping from channel 1-2 etc. takes now Less time then gamma 011

 

Every "half hour" / "3 quarter of an hour

" there are 3 resets in about 3 minutes.

 

It looks like that gamma 12 is better then gamma 11 for strong 4375 (With A GoldCard)

 

Irdeto is still not working on a GoldCard. (irseto-juni.zip)

Aston Xena1700 :

 

Receiver doesn't see the FUN card (5in1) sometimes it does see the card and there's picture (seca) and sometimes the receiver gives an insert card message.

Also there is NO picture on Premiere channels

 

Same problem occures with Gamma09Beta (But this version works a bit better than version 12) and Version 09 HAS picture on Premiere channels

 

Concluding :

Magic Module with Gamma Version 12 works on Aston Xena1700 but it seems it can't find the card sometimes (even after a card reset) where version 9 has the same problem but it finds the card after a card reset.
