Starting thread for feedback of the new Pentacrypt software for the magic Module !!

Please provide the following information when posting feedback :

 

Receiver: Brandname and model number

Hardware/Firmware/Software: Hard/Firmware/Software version of receiver

Bootloader: if applicable

Card: Card that is used in the Magic Module

 

Report your feedback and write down clearly what causes certain events with that software version for the Magic Module.

Hi Ushtar,

 

Here the new Pentacrypt in Humax 5400 with 2002G

Patch PH, looks very good.... Magic in the upper ci slot and NO hik ups (blocking) anymore.

Also cardinfo better, you can see the update date.

MM with Pentacrypt 1.0

 

tested with Seca goldcard.

 

Perfect picture from Palco channels on Hotbird.

 

Picture from dutch Can+ has some ghost effect in it, but that might be a signal problem.

 

(Its only running for 10 minutes, but looks GREAT !!)

SECA 1 : Working (Pal*o, C*nal Digit**L, Kio*que)

Viaccess 1 : Working (Mult*v*sion)

Irdero 1 : Working (Prem*re)

Nagravision : Not Tested

 

Is a bit faster than tetra 1.0, And it seems a bit more stable (Only running 5 minutes) But most FTA channels or channels in preview mode (like K Channels) give a "NO ACCESS" message.

Card: Fun5in1 v38 (Satkoos)

Default audio languaje: English (it meens receiver switch audio channel in zapping, two DW commands to CAM, not one to see channel)

 

Nagra (Via Digital): Sometimes No-access banner on scrambled channels but can show video.

Nagra (CaboTV): drop video packets (I don't know if it's decoder problemm).

Hang index: Slow zapping, better than Tetra. Fast zapping, beetter than Tetra, but it hangs with No-access banner.

 

Seca1: Sometime No-access banner but it decrypts.

Hang index: Slow zapping, like Tetra. Fast zapping like Tetra.

 

General:

 

Boot time: slower than Aston.

 

When it hangs, Tetra say nothing, Penta say "No-access".

Switch between provider and encryptions systems:

 

Green blocks: (channel Vetrina, T+ Hotbird: 12034Ghz V 27500 3/4)

 

Languaje switch: Slower than Gammas. Like Tetra.

 

Satellite switch (motor): still hanging, also between FTAs. (multi reboot 'cause Nokia ask for a card, it doesn't detect MM when it crashes)

 

Too much "No-access" banner shows, even between FTA channels before the first time it shows.

 

Viaccess & Irdeto not tested yet.

Nagra seems to have gone, maybe this is down to the fact that they've started messing about with Nagra. I know Multidec is patched, but not certain that the new cards / cam patches sort the problem out.

 

Via fine, that's all I've tested at the mo, but will update tomorrow.

Feedback 9800S Nokia

New software (penta) is an enormous improvement

in comparison with tetra.

Much more stable. Essentillly identical configuration as Rembit and I have the same comments.

This version is finally usable in actual

practice. The minor points can be improved.

Also, trying to add channels, with the MM inserted, NO channels are found, with the MM removed, all channels are found....

 

I do NOT have any problem when using my DiSEqC 1.2 motor

 

(receiver and software as stated abov)

Working perfect, sometimes hangs but I can live with that. There are also more banners with No Acces even with FTA channels.

 

The greatest problem is still that the MM doesnt work on boot. I really hope you will solve this.

Nokia 9600 with Magic and NoOneManIt 1.2/1.3

 

Original dutch multichoice card (Irdeto) not working.

Gold Irdeto/ Seca not working

Fun 5in1 with flash 3.81 works almost perfect.

The biggest problem i have: No sound on the dutch channels.

 

Nagra: perfect

Seca : almost perfect

Via : perfect

Irdeto: problems

 

Dutch channels no sound on Irdeto and Seca

 

Private gold: Blocks and no sound

 

Stream: PPV : no sound

 

Palco: 10- 16 no sound./ Palco 1 - 9 is perfect

 

Is there anybody who has any Idea for the dutch channels (sound).

At the moment I try to get AU irdeto PW.Till know not suc6.

But.... i like the mm, quick and the mm is not so warm.Sometimes banner " no acces".No problem, after push on the button OK or exit you get the picture.
