Op de magic cam staat zo mooi geschreven : "This PC card is for development only". Ok so let's develop! Weet iemand of er een Software Development Kit beschikbaar is voor deze PC card? Bijvoorbeeld eentje van de chipbakker(Atmel). Volgens de magic cam site zit er een ARM7 in. Is dit misschien de AT91EB01. Hiervoor kan je een C++ compiler (+linker) kopen voor "slechts" $8900. Ahum... niet zo'n leuk prijsje voor een hobby'istje (hoe schrijf je dit eigenlijk? Zit er in de nieuwe board software ook een spelling checker ?)).

Weet iemand andere (betaalbare) ontwikkel software voor deze MM PC card.

Yes, you are right.

The CAM is only for developpement but only one talented coder firm for it.

I am sadly to see that many people are waitting for firm, and to see that only one coder make it.

What they happen if ushtar stop developping on MagicModule ?

The dead of this CAM....

 

And i think that , for sure that dream media would make some efforts to given public info about dev on his products.

Why buying a dev if one man stop support it...

 

I have already post a question, and no one has answered ...

So i continue my research bcz i think that modul is great, but the leak of infos is great too....

I'm pleased sat4all goes international (again) <img border="0" title="" alt="[smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

 

I studied the previous document and it makes sence to me. It has many simmilarities with the osi/iso network model. Still this stuff is theoretical reading material and I have no C compiler to generate executable code. I've seen some postings from Ushtar in another thread. So he is participating sat4all to. What about create a software group publishing sources in SourceForge? I guess Magic/Dream only makes profit selling hardware? Open source software could increase there hardware sells. If Ushtar is the only software developer for Magic Cam it's a bit of a dangerous situation. Is he married (without children)? What if suddenly little Ushtar's pop out the belly of Ushtar's girlfriend (wife)? He definitly will need some time for his family.

So Ushtar if you read this please share your knowledge and problems (concerning magic software development and not birth problems etc.) with us.

I want to help develop the magic cam to but same problem: no compiler, no background documentation / sdk.

 

It's questionable if Ushtar releases in de (close) future his sourcecode, but I do hope so.

 

Plz. Ushtar, tell us what compiler and resources we need to do the job.
