Lancering Astra 1L pas in april.

Ik denk dat dat wel moet lukken. Misschien moeten de sats wat dichter naar 28,2 oost gebracht worden en dan is ook daar de duo-lnb inzetbaar. Weer een markt aangeboord voor dat duo-ding. (volgens mij had ik toch een fabriekje voor duo-lnb's moeten beginnen, goude handel <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/xyxthumbs.gif" alt="" /> )

Astra 1L is bijna aangekomen op 19.2 gr. oost. Dat zie je een site van LYNGSAT.

Volgens Flysat is de Astra 1L nu op 22,5 oost gesignaleerd. Zou de 1D op 23,5 oost nu echt op zijn? Omdat ze de 1L doorsturen die kant op. Wat weten wij nog niet wat SES-Astra wel weet. Straks sturen ze em door nog door naar 28,2. Dit in plaats van de 2C. Is ook nog een mogelijkheid.

En 31,5 graden: Elevation angle: 19.25°

Verschil valt me inderdaad nog mee.

Astra 3 heeft niet de juiste beam voor de UK !!

Ze zouden daar nog meer kunnen parkeren , maar ....

plaats & contracten !!!!

Het is officiëel niet de bedoeling dat er buiten de UK

naar de uk zenders wordt gekeken , ook al zouden ze & zijn er

FTA op de Astra 2 positie , dus een Astra voor de UK & Benelux

tesamen op 1 positie , vergeet het maar !!

Tijdens het analoge tijdperk was dit nog wel zo , maar ja ,

de Engelse waren al snel voor de Astra 1A in te vullen ,

DTH satelliet was toen "nieuw" !!

Natuurlijk , coderen was toen ietsjes later ook al .... een pest !!!!

 

 

Er zijn mensen die echt enkel maar de Astra 1 (willen) kijken ,

en nog een LNB aankopen voor astra 3 , weeral kosten <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> ,

of , oei , is dat niet te moeilijk , of kan dit wel bij onze ontvanger ??

Of er zijn mensen die werkelijk onwetend zijn van andere satellieten ,

ze hebben dan bv Astra 1 , maar zich totaal niet op de hoogte stellen !!

Of sommige hebben nog steeds analoog !!!!

(en maar klagen dat er zovele zenders wegvallen !!!!)

Op rommelmarkten verkopen ze nog analoge rommel ,

en sommige trappen er met hun beide voeten in , wegens onwetenheid !!

En ja , ook al digitaal , 2 maanden terug ,

ik zag dat er een pace 501 G4 te koop was !!!!

De 1L is via een toeristische route toch op 19,2 aangekomen en de eerste transponders zijn actief:

Betzdorf (Luxembourg), 11 July 2007. – SES ASTRA, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), announced today that its new ASTRA 1L satellite has been successfully deployed to its final orbital position at 19.2° East and is ready for commercial operations. The satellite, which was launched from Kourou, French Guiana, on 5 May has completed all necessary in-orbit tests of the hardware and broadcasting functionalities on board. ASTRA 1L was built by Lockheed Martin.

 

ASTRA 1L will deliver Direct-to-Home (DTH) broadcast services to continental Europe and further strengthen the ASTRA fleet at the prime orbital position 19.2° East. The new satellite allows SES ASTRA to move the satellite ASTRA 2C from 19.2° East to 28.2° East in order to serve the dynamic UK and Irish markets. ASTRA 1L also strengthens the operations of Ka-band transponders at 19.2° East with the Ka-band transponders on ASTRA 1H serving as backup.

 

With this fleet redeployment, SES ASTRA is able to offer 16 additional transponders on ASTRA 2C out of which at least 10 transponders will be for DTH in UK and Ireland and the remaining transponders for other services across Europe. Furthermore, the move of ASTRA 2C allows a realignment of transponders across the different satellites positioned at 28.2° East, permitting activation of another 8 transponders on the steerable beam on ASTRA 2B, which is currently positioned over West Africa, and bringing the total of transponders on that beam from 8 to 16. Furthermore, the inter-satellite backup system at 28.2° East is strengthened as ASTRA 2C carries backup capacity for ASTRA 2A, 2B and 2D. The repositioning of ASTRA 2C is scheduled for the third quarter of this year.

 

In addition, the new satellite ASTRA 1L enables SES ASTRA to bring its satellite ASTRA 1E from 19.2° East to 23.5° East, further strengthening this orbital slot for DTH transmissions across Europe.
