- strong loader 2000 installeren

- controleren of je een generic/text only printer

hebt geinstalleerd zo niet dan als nog

installeren en deze als standaard printer

instellen.

- kabels aansluiten op de ontvanger

( deze moet uitstaan belangrijk! )

- loader 2000 starten

- op com klikken en com poort selecteren

- op file klikken en vervolgens

bin_file_to_load selecteren.

transmission- ( of iets dergelijks ) geeft.

Solution 1:

Verify that your receiver gives any signs of life, that is to say, test that if you connect the receiver to the PC with the COM port, the loader recieves messages from the device after switching the reciever on as you would do when patching the firmware. The important thing is that intercommunication exists. If you have been able to put it in CHA Mode (although you do not see it in display because it is in black), reaply the firmware again. It can be possible that if it detects some error in the firmware, the receiver stops booting. If you re-applied the firmware v20 with the PPV patch test it again.

My experience with this is that the Display turns to black when you turn on your reciever and try to go to a channel while after uploading the new firmware, the channellist is black. My advice therefor is to go inmediatly to MENU after the upgrade and start the channel-scan.

If this has not worked it try the following solution:

Solution 2:

We suppose that sometimes the loader program doesn't send a finalize, and the receiver continues waiting for data.

We shall first try to close the upload manually.

We can do this as followed:

- Turn on the reciever in admin mode (mode CHA).

- Execute the Loader2000 and choose the COM to which it is connected.

- In the window below press in lowercase and without the quotes:

"h" Does it display something?

"control + c" several times, Does it display something?

"g" Does the display turn on?

- If it is not working, restart the Strong putting it in CHA mode and try to upload the firmware again.

If this has not worked it try the following solution:

Solution 3:

In some cases the previous solution is not sufficient. Then we must do the following:

1 - Start hyperterminal and configur it properly (i suppose you know how.)

2 - Connect with the terminal to the receiver. 3 - Press a key 4 - Wait for something like: "Access Code?" (Requesting you to enter the password)

5 - enter the password "cafe" (without the quotes, only if you use the DeadCafe 3.0 files)

6 - If it displays "enter acces code?", returns to point 3.

When you are logged in

8 - Press "c" and the Rx thinks you are loading a file.

9 - Exit hyperterminal. 10- Start the loader, Connect to the COM and select the file that you want to send.

11- Press Start.

When doing this, it will load new firmware, but it is possible that it follows without igniting display. As soon when uploading the firmware is finished and you reboot the receiver, the display will work again.

Solution 4:

Sometimes the problem is not the firmware. Sometimes a receiver looks dead because a condensator is overloaded. The condensator is in the front of the receiver, and can cause the microprocessor not to work (this controls everything: display, remote control, front keys, clock, etc...)

The solution is to empty the condensator so it works again.

It is not necessary that you replace the display.

To empty or unload it do the following:

- Turn off the receiver.

- Remove the display, on the board it has a condensator of 0,22 uF that is used as a battery. (It's green with the shape of a small battery)

- We must shortcircuit (uniting both pins) for a few seconds (I could jump a spark).

Do not forget to connect the display again before closing the receiver.

If this was the casue of the problem, when turning on the reciever the display will show 'OK'. Now it is possible to load firmware again.

Solution 5:

It can that micro of which it is spoken before always is reseteado, doing that does not work anything, but that is not due to the condenser that is indicated. Not if bypassing a transistor that is alongside fixes, but if that there are to have fixed experiences it resoldando it again.

Solution 6:

This is the solution that cures everything almost, not to say the totality. It is the most tragic solution and the one than one is due to practice in last instance or case of having lost certainty to have boot of the terminal. Boot can be lost of diverse forms, and once it is had lost we were without the communication between PC and Strong. This means that we will not be able to reprogramar flash BFC0 to again introduce boot to him through loader. The form to do it will be more delicate. With very many taken care of we will have to desoldar flash BFC0 (it is identified in the photos of the inner " section of the terminal ") Is flash has 48 pins, with which in addition you must have very many patience. Which remembers that to find this type of flash in a store he is very complicated, with if we spoiled it can that is the aim of deco, we do not have spare part. Once we have it loose, we will have it to take to some store that programs flashes (if we do not have the clear programmer) and we take the special file to him for programmers whom boot contains so that they introduce it. Once programmed, with end again taken care of, we will weld the flash in its site well, fixing to us that we placed it in the correct and not invested position. If it beams in complete instance, can that you take a joy.

Note: There are electronics stores that program the flashrom.
