Nieuwe firmware en settings!

Zojuist heb ik de nieuwe firmware voor de topfield 4000PVR en een settinglijst online gezet op de topfield pagina (onder de banner op de topfield forumindex).

De nieuwe firmware is versie TF-JPC 4.53 met een eerste beta van het Nederlandse menu en tal van bugfixes!

Men heeft mij verzoch er met klem bij te vertellen dat het om een eerste vertaling gaat en dat deze nog verre van perfect is. Daar wordt aan gewerkt en later deze week of begin volgende week valt een nieuwe vertaling te verwachten.

Gezien het feit dat de vertaling voor meerdere modellen tegelijk gebruikt wordt is dit iets lastiger als normaal maar dat komt allemaal goed:-))

De settinglijst is voor 28 t/m 43 graden en is niet specifiek voor Nederland gesorteerd. Het is wel een nette en complete lijst.<p>Dan krijg ik zojuist nog een lijst met veranderingen in deze versie:<p>1. IRD status of this version

(1) system id : 206

(2) loader version : v3.06

(3) device version : v4.3.23

(4) application version : TF-JPC 4.53

(5) last update : Nov 21 2001<p>2. Improvements in this version

(1) If a service has dolby AC3 sound track, the db mark will be displayed in the info

box.

(2) The function of skip 30 seconds did not work at time shifting of recording

channel. It is fixed.

(3) There was a problem in searching Turk1C with NIT on. It is fixed.

And, the TP database of Turk1C is completely changed.

If you want to update TP database, you have to do factory setting.

(4) There was a problem at issuing the DiSEqC command just after booting. We fixed it.

(5) If you set Timer mode to Auto (Default) in Main menu -> System setting -> Local

Time Setting

-> Mode, the system refers the TDT information as the current time.

If there is no TDT at some channels, the system changes the timer mode to manual even

though

the displayed mode is still Auto.

There was a bug in manual timer mode and it is fixed.

(6) The remocon key reaction is much improved.

(7) More hard disks now supported.

(8) Playback icon and recording icon can be hidden by pressing blue key.

Every pressing the blue key at playback or recording will toggle the icon display mode.

(9) EPG speed is a little bit enhanced.

(10) Pressing MENU key with recorded service list will go to main menu directly.

(11) Display "COPY" in the front panel while copying the recorded service.

(13) If you were watching a channel and the delayed recording started at other

channel of different

tuner, there was a problem in issuing DiSEqC command at recording channel. It is fixed.

(14) There was a problem in searching Astra2. It is fixed.

(15) If you went to live video by fast forwarding at time shifting, the live video

was not shown sometimes.

It is fixed.

 

3. Known problems

(1) We often check the board of www.topfield.de => international area (english). So,

if any problems or good ideas, post them.

(2) All the softwares of topfield settops are posted at www.topfield.co.kr and you

can get the product information.
