ik las dat er een verband is tussen de loaderprogramma van de funcard en de receiver.

FUNCARD FOR XSAT: "METHOD"

These layers are a digest different "posts" put end to end, making it possible to join together a maximum of information on the use of the funcards and Xsat.

 

I thank all the people who bring enormously to research on decoding and particularly to the FFF, Bidousoft, Freesecaforum, Mediasecaforum, the funcarteam, cafeine, freeseka, the dockerteam, the xsat TEAM (the principal actors of these forums will recognize themselves)

I hope not to have forgotten anybody and presents my excuses if that were the case.

 

1) THE XSAT.

 

The first thing with knowing is that the XSAT (310 and 360) as well as maestro allow the decoding of the Viaccess programs and médiaguard in their entireties provided that the version of firmware (program interns managing the demodulator) is equal or higher than the 4.6.19 (I advise to pass directly to the 4.6.31 who manage it WITH perfect manner).

 

It is indeed impossible to have a direct access to chains PPV (Pay per view - "Kiosks" with a version former unless inserting "vents" (a vent is a code corresponding to a selected program) during the programming of the chart using suitable utilities available at this address http://www.bidousoft.net (section funcard)

Those are generally accompanied by a textual file explaining their operations.

 

A maximum of 20 vents are programmable (this operation will have thus to be renewed regularly), that will oblige you to choose as a preliminary the emissions or films which you wish to view.

 

This solution is relatively constraining and disadvised because it is very easy to modify the version of firmware of its demodulator if it does not contain the necessary version.

 

The first stage consists in checking the version of firmware of the demonstration. To be made support successively on the keys "small and iguide" of the remote control, the number of version will appear then on the top of the screen.

 

To pass to the replacement firmware, it is enough for you to a PC, a programme of flash, desired firmware (of the 4.6.19 to the 4.6.31) and of a cable.

The program allowing the flash explains very well the method in depth and of additional information beings will be able obtained on the forum of the site.

 

The only element which can put in failure an update of demodulator is that an interruption of current occurs at the crucial time.

It of course is understood that the user carries out this operation at his risks and dangers and engages his whole responsibility.

 

You know now the principal elements allowing Xsat to carry out satellite decoding under best the conditions.

 

2) PROGRAMS.

 

I will not remake Doc. on the funcard; "Funcard for the null ones" is there for that and the fact certainly better than I could not do it. http://www.bidousoft.net (section funcard).

 

The explanations which follow consist in gathering a series of "tricks and easy ways" like certain information on the use of less known programs; as Funmagic or Funstudio (the use of Funprom is explained in detail in "Funcard for the null ones".

 

The purpose of these "tricks and easy ways" are to optimize the use of the funcards with Xsat by the reduction to see the removal of the cuts and any other disturbing element.

 

MEDIAGUARD:

 

Many files exist for the decoding of the médiaguard for the funcard, the most used and most reliable are certainly the files Funomatic 2.85; V1.01;V1.02;V1.03; and V1.04 as well as the files of the FFF (FFF284, 285 and 286) and of Whocares (http://www.funcard.net and http://www.bidousoft.net

 

The last files funomatic V1.04 and FFF286 are operational to answer the attack "Wars Star" of the 10/09/2001.

 

However, since this attack, the file of reference "100% without cuts" is the secom 2.0á of azureen (it is always OK).

 

Many files appeared lately, and you will be informed of their compatibility with Xsat in the next versions of this Doc..

 

To be compatible with the XSAT, certain Flash files must be modified (mainly the flash funomatic 285).

This stage is thus not necessary with all Flashs, but a checking does not cost anything.

 

The procedure consists in opening the file flash with Wordpad (or another text editor) and then modifying line 32 of the flash.HEX.

 

Data "953BE" must be replaced by "95ÁE", do not forget to record the modification.

The Flash is ready and can be charged in the chart while following the usual procedure (funcard for the null ones).

 

Once programs charged in Funprom, to select the Seca mitre and to carry out the following modifications:

 

a) To select ident it numéricable and to remove it to avoid problems of zapping (some is the program used)

To avoid the cuts: to change the job number of the chart on provider SECA, to replace the UA (single address) 11 22 33 by any other figures.

 

c) To also replace the startup string by something of valid to replace the 02 FF FF... by 00 00 00.....02 00 93 (anything) or by general... the..02899B.

 

You can then program your funcard.

 

The modifications carried out must produce significant results on the cuts and blocking with the zapping.

 

Programming of the funomatics V.101;V.02;V03 and V.04 with Funstudio.

 

For the operation of the versions of funomatic mentioned above, one should program only the flash and the file ext. on the chart, the file int is not necessary.

 

Once funstudio launched, to select "file" and "to abrir" and select your file ext. for opening, the providers will then appear under "datos eprom" (not to forget not to remove the provider numericable to avoid problems of zapping, to select it in the list with the right button and to click on "eliminar proveedor".

 

To select "datos eprom then" to strip all the boxes except "Taquillas X" and not to forget not to modify the startup records (idem startup string) as indicated above.

 

To select the Apollo indication then and to click on the check box flash, a box with dialogue opens and allows you to select your flash funomatic V.1.......

 

To notch the box then "eprom externa (editada in fs).

 

To click on "Borrar" to erase the contents of the chart and then on "programar" to program it.

 

Here how to program a funcard with funstudio.

 

Programming with funmagic.

 

On the contrary other programs, funmagic allows the loading of all the types of files.

 

It functions relatively well, but presents some bugs in certain functions.

 

This program is multilingual (and thus takes charges the French of them) what facilitates its assumption of responsibility.

 

A help with operation is integrated into the program and I thus will not be delayed in explanations.

 

Opened once, the interface presents 3 principal buttons:

 

PROGRAMMER APOLLO: who allows to open or erase the 3 principal files (flash, int and ext.)

 

EXTERNAL EDITOR EPROM who allows to visualize and modify the providers, the idents ect......

 

TOOLS LOGS which allows (as its name indicates it) the management of the various logs.

 

The icons present on the screen "programmer apollo" take again the principal functions funcards (To erase, Programmer ect.....)

 

I think that the explanations mentioned above will be enough amply, considering the simplicity of the interface.

 

VIACCESS:

 

The files viaccess are only programmable with Funprom 2.44 or superior.

 

They take care the others exactly in the same way and are also composed of a flash, a int and of an ext..

 

As for the MEDIAGUARD the files are numerous, personally I use the software of Whocares (http://www.funcard.net).

 

The majority of the files function without problems on Xsat, it is enough to update regularly certain codes (mainly for chains X).

 

However, of the cuts of a few seconds on the chains "multivisions" and aucunes solutions at the horizon appear.

 

Some recommended the unfolding of the providers with different SA and CUSTWP, but in vain.

 

Here are principal information for the VIACCESS.

 

I hope that the owners of Xsat, maestro (and others) found information useful.

 

If you note failures or errors in this document do not hesitate with me to make share of it, bus more it will be complete and more it will be useful (if you use other programs which functions with Xsat or other).
