This dual satellite DVB-S2 HD platform has been chosen by Canal+ to replace its range of STB products.

 

The addition of an external USB hard drive transforms the DSR7201 into an HD PVR box, with any size of hard drive available to meet operator-specific requirements.

 

The DSR7201 connects to any IP network to access the operator’s VOD portal. To guarantee Quality of Service, content is downloaded onto the hard drive, and replayed only when the movie can be played back without interruption.

 

For a multiroom solution, the DSR7201 can be connected to a client box in another room. The content is sent digitally encrypted via IP.

 

This platform is also available for Terrestrial and Cable networks.
