[Dbox-II] Kein Sytem .... en krijg er ook niets op..

Ik ben nu al een dikke week bezig met een oude Dbox2 (Sagem 2xI) om er een image op te krijgen.

Maar niets wil lukken.

Zelfs de truc via hyperterminal werkt niet.

Als ik de U-BOOT.MOT erin probeer te zetten krijg ik onderstaande meldingen:

Achter de prompt blijft alleen een S staan en zelfs als ik 1,5 uur wacht gebeurt er niets.

De box komt niet terug in zijn prompt.

 

Ook heb ik een andere U-BOOT.mot gedownload, want ik was met deze meldingen bang dat mijn bestand beschadigd was.

 

De PC is een laptop met een USB/serieel adapter en daaraan een nulmodem kabel.

Op de laptop zit WinXP.

 

Wie weet wat ik nog moet doe of over het hoofd zie?

Mij hangt er iets van bij dat flashen vaak alleen gaat als men Win98 gebruikt.

Klopt dit of zit ik in de war met iets anders?

En dan nu de oplossing: Windows 98

Het serieel flashen van de Dbox2 met hyperterminal was met XP niet mogelijk.

Maar met behulp van een oud beestje van de zolder met Win98 was het een fluitje van een cent.
