SCSI op Nokia 9500

Hallo

 

Ik heb een Nokia 9500,ik kan geen verbinding maken via de SCSI ingang. In mijn pc zit een Ultra SCSI kaart type DC-315U van het merk Tekram.

In mijn systeem zijn de juiste drivers geinstalleerd, want volgens de gegevens zou de kaart goed zijn geinstalleerd en geen conflikte hebben.

Wat doe ik verkeerd of op wat moet ik letten of moeten er bepaalde instellingen gebeuren in de Nokia 9500 , op dit moment staan alle instellingen in het SCSI menu op ON.

In all configurations DVB2000 should be set to operate as a 'communication device' (Guide/8/4/8 to 'Com-Dev').

 

In most configurations synchronous transfer should be dissabled in DVB2000 (Guide/8/4/4 to 'act. neg. OFF'), inside SCSI-controller BIOS-setup (if possible) and also in the Windows device manager.

 

If you are not able to install Adaptec ASPI-driver because you have no Adaptec-controller, then you have two possibilities to get them installable. First way is to use the ASPI-installer shipped with most CD-burning software, which do not check the controller-type. The second way is to tell the ASPI-installer to have a compatible Adaptec-controller. To do this, simply install a non Plaug&Play Adaptec-controller like the AHA-1542 from the Windows system-control. After installing this controller, Windows ask for a reboot. Say NO at this time. Run the ASPI-installer, which also ask for reboot. Also say NO to this question. No uninstall the Adaptec-controller and reboot your PC. Thats it.

 

For Windows 2000 you need the DVB2000-Driver from GKware. Version 1.0 works more stable than newer versions. (ook voor Win XP !!!)

 

Linux-User with a Adaptec-controller should set DVB2000-SCSI-ID to 6.
