vu plus duo Flash modus

Hallo,

 

Hoe kom ik in de flash modus van de VU+ duo.

 

Bij bijvoobreeld de Dreambox is dit door op te starten met het pijltje omlaag op de box.

 

De VU+ duo heeft geen pijltjes dus.....

Flash an image via USB

 

 

It is very simple to flash your VU+ Duo receiver using an USB stick. Just follow these instructions:

1. Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system
   
2. Create a folder "vuplus" in the root directory of the USB disk (note: this HAS to be lower case!)
   
3. Create a folder "duo" in the "vuplus" directory you've just created (again, this HAS to be lower case!)
   
4. Download the USB image of your choice (this is an image specific for USB flashing, you can not use the standard .nfi file!)
   
5. Extract the USB image (it is a .zip archive) on your PC using your favorite unzip tool
   
6. Copy the three files that are in the zip archive to the "duo" directory on the USB stick
   
7. Switch your VU+ Duo off (power-off, not stand-by!)
   
8. Insert the prepared USB stick into the front of your VU+ Duo receiver
   
9. Switch your VU+ Duo on
   
10. Follow the installation instructions on the screen
    

 

Nu even in het nederlands:

 

1. Formateer jouw usb stick met FAT32 systeem

2. Maak een map aan op de usb stick : vuplus

3. Maak binnen de map vuplus een map aan: duo

4. Download, bijv van de pli site een enigma2 besturingssysteem geschikt voor de vu plus duo

5. Pak de gedownloade image uit, met bijv. winrar

6. Kopieer de drie bestanden op de usb stick in de map: vuplus/duo

7. Schakel je vuplus duo geheel uit ( spanning eraf )

8. Druk de usb stick in de usb poort voor, achter het klepje ( De usb poorten achterop de vuplus kan ook worden gebruikt, hiervoor )

9. Schakel de vuplus duo weer aan ( spanning erop zetten )

10. Volg de instructies op het scherm ( na het flashen, geeft de vu plus in het scherm aan, schakel de vuplus geheel uit ( spanning eraf ), verwijder de usb stick en zet dan de spanning er weer op.

 

Let wel: Gebruik wel de juiste bootloader, versie 84, bedoeld voor de vu plus. Het flashen van de bootloader gaat op dezelfde manier als hier boven is beschreven.
