vu plus solo 2 Stabielste image tot nu toe voor VU+ solo2

Hallo,

 

Gisteren mijn nieuwe VU+ Solo2 thuis gekregen. Nu was mijn vraag wat tot nu toe ongeveer de stabielste kale image is tot nu toe voor de solo2? Met kale bedoel ik zonder extra plugins. Enkel het image flashen en klaar.

Ik richt mij dan vooral op de mensen die er al enkele dagen/weken mee werken met de solo2

andere heb ik er nog niet op getest

andere vinden een andere image weer beter dus is het heel moeilijk om te zeggen dit is de beste

probeer gewoon eens wat en kijk dan wat je het beste bevalt

In elk image worden plugins opgenomen, zelfs in het originele, dus kaal zul je ze niet kunnen testen.

Bij mij draait de solo2 met VTI al sinds Nieuwjaar zeer stabiel in een bedraad netwerk.

Werk nu ook met VTI maar om de een of andere redenen is die sloom op mijn VU+ duo. Constant de spinning VTI icoon, nuja die box vliegt naar de slaapkamer en de solo 2 komt beneden. Mag ik vragen welke skin jij gebruikt bij jou solo2 met VTI?

ik gebruik al een jaar openpli3.0 op mijn vuduo en die loopt als een trein.

op de solo2 daar ging het ook over, staat de skin HD series van maggy die standaard is ingesteld na het flashen en inrichten.

(let wel, ik gebruik geen picons op de solo2 hetgeen een reden kan zijn voor dat spinnertje)

Ook ik gebruik VTi sinds eind vorig jaar op de SOLO2 / Ultimo en kan melden dat deze image uitermate stabiel loopt wat ik van OpenPLi niet kan zeggen.

Hierbij wel toegevoegd dat ik OpenPLi alleen op de DUO en UNO getest heb en niet op de SOLO2.

Nu kun je de SOLO2 sowieso niet vergelijken met de andere VU's omdat de SOLO2 nu eenmaal een snelheidsmonster is.

ben overtuigd dat je met elk ander image ook uit de voeten kunt, indien je het inrichten van zo'n image onder de knie hebt.

ben dus van mening dat je zo'n image moet leren kennen

en niet gisteren erop geflashed en vandaag weer vervangen met wat anders.

 

maar een en ander aan updates toepassen na het inladen mag je zien als kleine of belangrijke BUGS oplossen.

indien de BUGS ook aangepakt zijn geworden en afdoende zijn verholpen.

 

in zoverre ben ik zeer tevreden met VTI 5.1.x

 

blackeyes schreef het al en ik bevestig dat, test gewoon, maar niet een dag, leer het image kennen.

Ben al een aantal jaartjes VU+ fan heb ze dan ook al allemaal getest, er springt voor mij maar een image uit en dat is de Blackhole image.

En ja deze draaien op elke VU+ ontvanger stabiel, Ik zou zeggen testen en doe je ervaring op...

Ik ken Black Hole niet, tenminste niet getest.

Is het niet zo dat je daar vele plug-ins,

zoals CCCam, met FTP of zoiets op de ontvanger moet zetten en dat dat niet in de feed zit?.

Lijkt me wat omslachtig.

This is the new version of Black Pole image.
WARNING: ALL USERS THAT HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED BLACK POLE IMAGE 0.DON'T NEED TO REFLASH THE BOX.

You can mount all your hdd and usb mass storage in your preferred mountpoints.

An easy and very helpful way to format all your Usb stick or hdd with Linux filesystem.

For those who have problems with the network after image update.
1) Switch to DHCP first in network Configuration to reset network
2) reboot.
After that, you can config your network if you like to change.
DNS name server is automatically configured.

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.
Community members can then download it from our servers.

Ok hier nog wat info,

 

heb eerst de blackhole image geprobeerd en moet zeggen, image ziet er strak uit en is zeer snel qua bedienning. Toch dit image er direkt afgeknikkerd omdat ik oscam maar niet draaiende kreeg op blackhole. Na 4 uur zitten klooien met verschillende versies en configuraties heb ik het opgegeven.

2de image die ik erop gezet heb is VTI. Die ben ik al een beetje gewend door mijn vu+ duo. Image is tot nu toe stabiel maar werkt een stuk trager qua bedienning dan blackhole. Een minpunt (en serieus ambetant)voor mij althans  is dat je in VTI niet de EIT EPG kan afzetten. Daardoor krijg je verschillende informatie in de epg die niet kloppen of overlappen. Dit heb je dan wel weer in blackhole (en ook in VIX als ik mij herinner).

Indien dit nog in orde zou komen dat wordt VTI een keeper als die goed blijft draaien.

Is er op een of andere manier mogelijk om die EIT EPG uit te schakelen? Zodat ik enkel op gedownloade gegevens (crossepg/rytec) kan verder doen.

Ben eigenlijk benieuwd wat t.o.v. BH in VTi nu stukken trager werkt.

Ik kan me dat nauwelijks voorstellen want de SOLO2 i.c.m. VTi gaat juist als een speer.

Wat gaat trager, het zappen of het Menu of ....?

Gewoon, de algemene werking en handeling. bv een film of aflevering die ik opgenomen heb wissen van mijn NAS gaat veel rapper in blackhole en VIX dan met VTI. Het oproepen van EPG gegevens gaat ook rapper in VIX en blackhole, terwijl ik hetzelfde aantal data opvraag van EPG. Dit zijn enkele dingen die ik nu noem maar er zijn er nog meer.

Ik zeg dus niet dat VTI tot nu toe niet lekker loopt op mijn solo2. Maar andere images zijn toch rapper naar mijn mening

İk heb een Duo met VTi V5.1.0, en bij mij gaat niets traag.

één druk op EPG toets, en het staat er al.

Met Plug-in "Second infobar", 1x OK is infobalk, 2x is EPG voor de zender waar je naar kijkt.

 

Ik heb geen Oscam, gebruik CCCam 2.3.0, werkt al 2½ jaar zonder problemen.

 

Als het nog rapper kan, kan ik dat nauwelijks geloven.

Zeker niet met de Solo2, die zou  supersnel moeten zijn.
