outlook 2000 afsluitprobleem.

hallo ik heb W98 op mijn pc met outlook 2000, soms als ik outlook afsluit dan lijkt het dat deze is afgesloten maar als ik dan ctrl,alt,del doe dan zie ik hem nog steeds open staan. als ik hem dan aanklik en zeg beeindigen dan wordt deze wel afgesloten.

eh instellingen te over in outlook die eventueel ergens mee bezig zijn dus het programma draaiende houden...

is voor je de outlook sluit ook niks meer in de verzendbox?

is een out of office wizard regel ingesteld?

is een agenda met scheduler aangemaakt....?

 

heb je iets ingesteld in de extra/opties/email instellingen?

 

schrijf eens alle instellingen van je account op...

wis de account daarna

maak een nieuwe account aan en vul de opgeschreven server instellingen pop3 etc in...

kijk eens wat outlook dan doet...

 

heel rot zou zijn dat een bugbear achtige je adressenbestanden aan het gebruiken is om zichzelf te verspreiden maar dat laat ik effe buiten beschouwing.

Gebruik geen Word als email editor in Outlook !

Maar gebruik Outlook rich text of html !

Als je Word gebruik dan start ie bij elk te creeren mailtje Word op de achtergrond op. Dit geeft problemen en maakt hem ook nog eens erg traag.

SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Word to send an e-mail message, and later attempt to quit Outlook, Outlook continues running. You must press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager and force Outlook to quit.

 

CAUSE

When Outlook is running and you send a document using Word, Word uses a cache to improve performance. This cache prevents Outlook from unloading from memory while Word is running.

 

RESOLUTION

There are two methods to resolve this problem:

Quit Word before you quit Outlook.

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager, click Outlook.exe and click End Task. Repeat this with Mapisp32.exe.

Maar wat gebruik je dan nu als email editor in outlook?

Default is namelijk "Word" omdat Microsoft er vanuit gaat

dat als je Outlook installeer, je ook de overige office

applicaties gebruikt omdat dit in hetzelfde pakket zit.
