Philips 5816/03g en Premiere

Hi ,

 

First of all - iam sorry to write this in English but my written Dutch is not really well - even though i can read it pretty well .

 

I have the 5816/03G reciever and wanted to see Premiere with my Funcard - this in order to see if i should get an abonnement or not . But the reciever seems to be displaying only Channel + channels . Is it maybe the funcard and a normal abonnement card would work well ? Or do i need a Goldcard etc. ?

 

Iam pretty new to all this ..

Hoi Dave, first of all , i do understand your problem with our language , so here's my reply in English.

I understand youre decoder is still original ? Then this wil decrypt only Seca channels .

The Premiere channels are encypted in "Betacrypt"

Your model 5816 has got the DSI 175 firmware in it , the first one out off the range.

Sad enough the only upgrade firmware for your Philips is version V4.

This firmware is AllPPv, NOT Allcam.

So , for you to see the Premiere's there's no other solution then buying another Satellitetuner !
