Vraag op spaans forum:

A few days and S*2 is starting in Holland. Till now there is none firmware for our strong 8000 what is working with the s*2 card and update the card. We have to flash the firmware to 'da2ned2' to make the strong ''orginal'. How did you spanisch guys made the s*2 card update and working with your buetiful firmware like the strong8k4000 and others ??

Ok. You are in error. The latest firmware MC4000 can update your S*ca2 card. You only have to put the option "Blocker EMM" in the menu with "no" value (MENU-->4-->9) and turn off the decoder. Next turn on the decoder and the updates can arrive to your card. The option "Blocker EMM" filter all S*ca2 C1 40 commands and allow us to watch n*gravision channels without resets. If you deactivate this option you receive this commands but have resets in n*gravision. This option is very useful because works like a seca blocker interface (AVR3-Blocker for example). Zojuist het "oude" topic over deze FW nog eens doorgelezen en ik zie dat Jefferson ook al naar de blokker heeft gekeken:

Ik heb gisteren de blocker EMM op no gezet en wat mij opvalt is dat de BETA veel stabieler is.

Toen ik deze firmware er deze week had ingezet was ik zeker niet zo happy want BETA hield het geen 2 minuten vol en was ook niet gemakkelijk weer terug te krijgen .

 

Jefferson, leef je eens helemaal uit en laat deze firmware

IK heb mijn strong weggedaan ben em echt zat heb nu een pioneer en een nieuwe reciever gekocht de nextwave free to air bevalt me een stuk beter, de strong is wel leuk om mee te knoeien maar we komen er geen steek verder mee ik denk dat viacces nooit een feit zal worden voor de strong helaas maar waar.

Als we zien hoe stabiel de pioneer draait <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif" alt="" /> super.

Dat met die Blokker heb ik getest ,maar jammergenoeg geeft ook dit geen beeld met de nieuwe S2 kaart. Jammer

hoi misschien een rare vraag maar ik heb bij ***ongewenste_url*** mc 4000 opgehaald maar welk bin bestandje heb ik nodig want er staan er meerdere in

Strong8k_MC4000.bin / het grootste bestand dat er bij staat 1.769.696 dat is het geen je nodig hebt.
