Heb het volgende probleem. De Dreambox start niet meer juist op als ik er een andere image in wil zetten. Ik wil graag de Ronaldd image erin hebben, maar het gaat nog steeds niet. Ik heb DreamUP gebruik om de image te vervangen.

 

Als ie bijna klaar is dan krijg ik "Flas copy failed! result: -1"te zien.

 

Toch maar OK gedrukt. Daarna start ie op en blijft de box op dream multimedia op display hangen. Daarna met hyperterminal het dit op het goede moment neergezet --> console=ttyS0,115200 root=/dev/mtdblock/0

 

Het onderstaande is de uitkomst hiervan. Kan iemand me helpen uitleggen wat ik nu moet doen?

Je hebt hetzelfde probleem als hier dus dreambox even weer opstarten zoals hierboven (met log messages) en dan op enter drukken en dit commando geven:

 

eraseall /dev/mtd/1

 

Dan reboten en je box zou wer moeten werken.

 

Ik wil wel graag weten welke image je hiervoor draaide. Ik vind het nl zeer raar dat minimaal 2 mensen een corrupt /var filesysteem hebben.

OK had ik al gedaan. Is toen netjes naar 100% gegaan. Hierna ge-reboot. Is nog steeds hetzelfde. De box blijft hangen bij Dream Multimedia 1.05

 

De log als hierboven is de uitkomst ervan.

 

Dus ik word er niet vrolijker van <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Ik ben er al vanaf gisteren mee bezig. Toen ook het topic van duckface.nl gevolgd. In ieder geval ging het bij mij mis toen ik van Jirkas over wou stappen naar de Ronaldd image. Dat ging helemaal niet. De enige die erin wil is de software van Traveller. Verders lukt het niet. Zal wel iets verkeerd doen. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Verder vind ik het vreemd dat bij DreamUP steeds de melding "Flash copy failed: result -1" krijg al er bijna na moeite een nieuwe image in staat. Is de flash niet gewoon suk ofzo??

Ik heb volgens mij hetzelfde probleem en ik draaide jirkas
van 14-09.
Daarvoor Ronald en geen enkel probleem. Nu kan ik allen mijn laatste backup (gelukkig!) flashen

ik vermoed dat de erase van dreamup alleen cramfs leeg maakt en niet /var, maar ik kan me vegissen ik gebruik dreamup niet vaak.

Ga niet hoger dan device 1 andere devices zijn gevaarlijk. Daarna moet je weer een image flashen. Ik wil graag weten of de erase van 0 nog fouten geeft die dreamup niet laat zien.

Bedankt voor de antwoorden.

 

Heb net even die boel geerased.. Hieronder zie je het resultaat. Het lijkt geen fouten te geven.

 

Nu heb ik voor de zekerheid de image nog een keer gedownload en van gamesquad en gelijk de boel weer geflashed met DreamUP. Aan het eind weer de melding "Flash copy failed! result: -1" . Dus blijft het display alleen nog maar Dream Multimedia vertonen en boot de box NIET meer door.

 

Dit onderstaande heb ik effe neergezet om te controleren of de erase van 0 en 1 nog fouten heeft.

Gisteren heb ik Jirkas er weer opgezet. Dit ging zonder fout meldingen of problemen.

 

Kan ik ook op een andere manier firmware in de Dreambox zetten bijvoorbeeld met FTP?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

In ieder geval hoef ik dan geen DreamUP meer te gebruiken.
