fortec 9800 V2 stuck

sorry to write in english but I am not yet ready to write Dutch.(I am a stupid frenchman!)

 

question to Ozzo maybe...

I did uplaod the application on my box. went Ok

now trying to upload the latest boot..things go wrong.

My box stays on "boot" and stay stuck there.

 

Is there a way to go out without serieus damage??

Hi, (Bonsoir ;-)

 

Normaly we don't accept any foreign messages (that is, when they're not in Dutch since we are a Dutch Board).

So I will help you as far as I can.

 

First of all you need the latetst uploader V3.0 to upload any software in your machine. I don't remember if the 9800V2 needs or even is equipped with a MASTER RESET possibility, but you should, when possible, give a master-reset before any upgrading.

Then it's priority to put in the new loader as first. After that you can upload the new software and the machine should reboot now, even if it's stuck in any boot-problem right now.

 

So despite all messages, just upload the loader and then the software. Please note that after uploading it can take quite some time untill the system will reboot. When it reboots : master reset if possible.

After all this you can re-arrange your channels with your remote or with an editor on your computer and upload the list to your machine.
