Ik ben heel benieuwd naar de ervaringen van mensen met de OpenFirmware.

Wie wil het kwijt?

Op zich alleen maar positief, de kanalenlijst + settings is simpel te laden, dus geen geschroef meer.

Via prog download kun je makkelijk de kanalenlijst voorzien van nieuwe emu.

Voor de 1430 is de laatste versie vertaald, met groot dank aan Satspock, en te halen bij slovak.

De laatste versie 14_v816_Final_633 + fix9b is nog niet vertaald.

Spirit heeft gelijk ,ik heb hem alleen maar omgezet van 1530 naar 1430.

Ik zelf heb de OpenFirmware vanaf het begin erin zitten heb nog nooit vastlopers gehad (lijk wel of ik het over een auto heb).

Zeer stabiel.

De servicekaart werkt ook perfekt nooit problemen meegehad.

Alleen moet je wel een Fun 5 of 6 hebben.

En de Emu werkt zonder problemen.

En hoe zit het met poolsat?

Het is geen kommentaar op jouw hoor, maar er zijn er die

er last mee hebben!loopt vast en zo of AU doet het niet.

De Polsat heb ik geen problemen mee.

Ik heb hem niet gefixt met 9 of 10

en bij mij zit de polsat in de emu

ik heb er ook problemen mee, ik heb wel de vk ingevuld, ging op zich een paar dagen goed, nu laad ik momenteel weer een nieuwe update op.

Toch nog een vraagje: Hoe kan ik via funcard nieuwe fimware inladen ? Heeft iemand daar een instructie van ?

Inderdaad Spirit, jij bent diegene die deze fw vertaald heeft. Daarvoor hartelijk dank. (beetje goed gemaakt zo ?)

beata jij hebt de zibi-fx 8.16 fix10 op basis van dynamite6.33 daar gaat kiosk taq en polsat mee open ik weet niet of dat bij de opensoft is heb ik niet getest (fun4)ik heb geen fun5

Met Openfirmware kan je niet een nieuwe firmware inladen maar:
1) kanalenlijst inladen (met pio normaal gesproken met J-tag) nu met funkaart
2) emu keys (hoef je ze niet meer met de AB in te toetsen)
3) uitleg service kaart wel in het engels:

Ok, no problem. First of all a little theory. The cardware is now for PicCard (based on PIC16[C/F]84(A)) and FunCard (based on AT90S8515(A)) with 24C512 i2c eeprom. Also the 24C1024 will work with this soft (only first half of memory is used in that case). Other memories aren't valid and it won't work. 24C512 has 64kilobytes of memory and it's enough to move the channel list in 2 cycles: 1-TCS,TPT,TSR and 2-EMU,TSETTING(not used in every list, but we add this feature for future purposes). I've placed the eeprom memory map in the readme for service card cardware so you can look at it for more info (the readme is English too, not only Polish). I've already written the cardware for 24C1024 so it'll be able to move all the sections with one cycle. I'am also finishing the cardware for 2x24C256 (this type of eeprom is very cheap, easy to buy and a lot of peope have a couple of these eeproms so it'll be able to use 2 of them instead of buying one 24C512). When it'll be ready I'll attach it on my site.

And now how to move the channel list from PC to deco using Service Card program written by -=Mario=- (note: download the latest 1.2 version with bugfixes and added English language).
1. Run the program and seect 'Files --> EEPROM'.
2. In frame 'Files' push the button 'Setting'. Now you must open the channe list file (*.rcu or *.bin).
3. In the middle frame the sections from this list wil be shown. You must select ony TCS, TPT and TSR.
4. Now in frame EEPROM push the button 'Setting' and create the eeprom file with TCS+TPT+TSR on the disk.
5. Push the button 'Go' placed under the middle frame. The eeprom wil be being created and you must wait until the progress bar will reach the end.
6. Now Select only EMU (and TSETTING), push the button 'EMU' in the eeprom frame and create an eeprom file with EMU(+TSETTING). Then push 'Go' under the middle frame and the eeprom file with these sections will be created.
7. When the eeprom files are ready we can go on with card programming. Attach your Phoenix to free COM port, plug the supply and place your service card in it (PicCard or FunCard flashed with a proper cardware (you write flash as usual - with ICProg or FunProm for example - and only one time at the beginning, then you use your service card only with Phoenix) and with 24C512 placed). At the right side of the program window you've got 'Phoenix' section. Select the proper COM and click 'Connect'. When everything gone ok you'll get the info 'Connect OK'. If no, there is something wrong with your Phoenix or card and you must check it.
8. Now click button 'Write' and select the eeprom file with TCS+TPT+TSR. The writing process will start. Wait until the progress bar reach 100%. Now you can go with your service card to the deco and write these sections to flash using the proper option in menu-9.
8. When you write TCS+TPT+TSR in your deco, place your service card in Phoenix again. Run again Service Card program and cick 'Connect'. Now 'Write' and select the eeprom file with EMU(+TSETTING). The writing process will start. Wait until the progress bar reach 100%. Now you can go with your service card to the deco and write these sections to flash using the proper option in menu-9
